Have a gsxr 600 K6

I am planning on replacing fuel pump

Old fuel pump has already been removed.

I am looking in the tank, it really isn’t dirty and no visible rust.

But since the tank is empt I thought maybe I clean it.

Best way to clean it, any suggestions?

Bring it to a radiator shop and have them steam the inside

I clean mine with muriatic acid. It's a tricky one not gona lie. I used 1 liter shaked it for 30 seconds and did it again. USE GLOVES AND GLASSES very important. After that use a lot of water to clean it and after that use 3 liters of petrol with oil mixture shake it very well empty it and do it again. Mine looks clear crystal now.
