Hey,did you call Richard at RCC like I said? Also depends on your intended use,is it mainly for the street where too much lag is unacceptable or is it mainly for racing where lag isnt as big of an issue?
GTX28 or GTX30 is what I would use to upgrade on my 1K.
@Maj750 @HeJason what say y'all?

No worries, you aren't pissing anyone off;this is what our forum is about, helping one another. Im gonna go and try and see what A/R the GT28 on my 1K is and I'll let you know in a lil bit ;)
and what would be the best trim for the bike 60 are 50 does the 60 make it spool slower thanks
This is the best I can do at the moment,if you need more/different pics I wont be able to do that til I heal up.
But here, this is the journal bearing GT28 that came with the Velocity kit I have. It may be small, and not DBB,but it spools pretty quickly and makes good power

Yes definitely. Being that Im still heavily medicated I doubt Id be able to hold a conversation and make any sense at all... for a lil while longer:hammer
can anybody tell me the specs to the turbo in the pic i know its a garrett gt28 but is it a 60 trim are a 50 and would it be better to use a 42ar are a 63ar thanks for the help
anybody with the specs on that turbo i need to buy one asap thanks
Call Garrett and see what they recommend. They will know best.

It may be a long shot, but call Jason at RPM/Velocity,tell him you just bought a used Velocity kit and you need to know the details about the turbo. He should be able to tell you what you need to know
Or, just do some research on your own and fogure it out. A smaller turbine a/r will make the turbo spool quicker at the expense of top end power. A larger turbine a/r will make turbo lag greater, but will have a greater top end pull.

No worries, you aren't pissing anyone off.......
Perhaps all the pain meds / muscle relaxants you're currently on are combining to have the effect of happy pills?

Or, just do some research on your own and figure it out.

Excuse the link to a specific company, its an example only
something like this
Garrett GT28 Turbo [TBO-059] - $749.00 : Himni Racing, Turbocharger, Turbo, Garrett, Turbo Kit, GReddy, Mazda RX-7, HKS, Apexi, TiAL, TurboXS, TurboSmart, Flange, Turbonetics, Exhaust, Intercooler, ACT, Intake , it has the t3 flange and ford 5 bolt outlet
or if you want better power and willing to spend more for it
Garrett GT2871R Ball Bearing Turbo - w/ GT28R Comp Housing [472560, 771847 036] - $992.00 : Himni Racing, Turbocharger, Turbo, Garrett, Turbo Kit, GReddy, Mazda RX-7, HKS, Apexi, TiAL, TurboXS, TurboSmart, Flange, Turbonetics, Exhaust, Intercooler, A , it has t3 5 bolt options, get the .63 housing for best compromise on early spool and not choking the top end
we use this turbo on out LSR 750 with a .86 housing as the 63 chokes above 25psi even on the smaller motor, for street use at lower boost it will be fine
