WOW this sun is looking awesome for a nice twisty mountain run!!! Sunny and upper 60s to low 70s!!! About damn time. You know the drill peeps,
10am at the CIRCLE!!! The kick stands will be up at 1030am sharp to enjoy
some nice warm roads, LOL.

Post up if you are coming out so we know who we are waiting for.:cheers

I hope the tank mount for my steering dampner is here in time. It had too be
shipped from the Netherlands. It broke on sun at NJMP in the morning before
the track day began.:banghead I still rode but I only went about 60% of my
usual slow pace.:dissapointed I will be riding on sun regardless.........:burnout

It's looking real good, high of 70 and sunny!!! Perfect riding weather.
I don't think you will be needing a heated vest, Mitch.:punk

Mitch, get the tampon out of the vagina, no heated vests needed... ;) I rode in 12 degree F weather with no heated gear.. granted not more then 25-30 mins at a time, but I'm still here :) nice leathers and you're good to go!

I'll be riding to Canada this weekend, leaving Saturday at 3 pm. hope to be in Toronto by 10:30-11. and coming back Monday in the am.. my first long trip with the trusty steed, so wish me luck ladies!

Oh , your all so manly , especially Alex. My leathers have a biz-zillion little ventilation holes all around so while it works well in hot weather not so much when its in the 40's. Dont be haters when im nice and toasty.

The ride was awesome, the weather was perfect!!! The traffic on the backroads was pretty lite and zero issues other than Ernie's back tire.
The chords were showing near the end of the ride. When that power pure
rear wears, it deteriorates rapidly. Still my favorite street/track tire. I am
dying to try the new power 3s.

Good seeing you Rob and Big Johnny Busa and the some of the old circle crew. Always a show at the circle..........there were a bunch of RICERS
working on their cars at the gas pumps and all over the circle. They scattered like roaches when a lone motorcyle cop showed up, LMAO. Then
there was the ferrari show, followed by the corvette show.

Jerry why do you always have to start trouble, talking about a TRACK DAY
on may 11th at NYST!!!:shifty Ernie is game, I will see how things develop
as the day approaches.:wait

Always good running with you Mitch, have a good trip on the new wheels!!!
I wanna grow up to be a balla like you sir.:burnout

Alex let us know how the trip was, hopefully there were no international events of the unexpected kind.:eek:hmy

Yes John I've been known to be a bit of a trouble maker, and I'm always looking for my next fix. Glad you guys had a good ride and was great seeing some old faces.

good to hear the ride was good fellas, love to hear when no popo trouble happens.

My ride was freaking amazing:
first of all I fell for the old weatherman again, i actually believed it would be in the 60s and sunny.. yes laugh at me now. so i took my summer leathers, which just like Mitch's have many little holes in them. amazing when its 60s+ but suck major one when its 40s to low 50s and pouring rain...

on the way there, i was chilling and having a great time, until about buffalo, when fatigue and the cold started taking their toll. and the last 150 miles felt like eternity.. at least it was dry. the ride took a whole 10 hrs, I had a great Sunday in Toronto, no international incidents. thanks for asking. i left Monday at 6:30 am.

Now the ride back was setting up to be an interesting event from the get go, i managed to outrun the rain for a bit, but the weather wasn't going to get any better, so i stopped at a local tim hurtons (kinda like dunkin but a bit cheaper and fancier), and looked my gear over.. i had under Armour top and bottom on, i put on a fleece vest, then i took the free newspaper, and stuffed it between the vest and the fleece i put over it, over the fleece i put a garbage bag, kindly sourced from a nice woman at the counter.. im assuming and hoping it was unused. and over all that, the lovely perforated dainese jacket, which luckily zipped shut, despite making me look like a stuffed sausage.
silicone work gloves under leather gauntlets, courtesy of the same lovely lady, and i was good to go.

in the next 11 hrs, i was bombarded by lovely potholes, standing water, poring rain, trucks, a few rear tire slides and great drivers from the tri state area. stopped at least half a dozen times, had about a gallon of coffee and enough doughnuts to feed a small platoon.. had 6 pills of ibprufen in hopes to silent down the wrestlers shoulders and eventually got home at 5:30 pm.. to a hot shower and a delicious home cooked meal, cooked by the lovely wife.

and now after ive struggled to stay awake for the past 3 hrs, pretending to coach someone, i'm pretty much ready to pass the f out..

lessons learned in 1087 miles covered in 21 hrs: dont let the kids wrestle if you want them to have functioning shoulders, dont listen to the weatherman, always have a garbage bag and silicone gloves with you, dont listen to the weatherman.. ;)

sorry for the long post.
