I finally got in my rear hugger and wouldn't you know there would be a problem. Their bracket falls about an inch too short.
There's a bracket that mounts to the swing arm stand bush. Well, where the hugger is supposed to bolt in, it dosen't. There's about an inch difference that can't be made up. Even if the brake line wasn't in the way the tire hits the hugger.
I tried partially flattening their bracket and it didn't work. I have spent the entire day f'in around trying to make my own bracket, and that still doesn't work. W/ my bracket the hugger still falls to the tire.
So I was wondering if any of you have had this problem and how you handled it.
The Co. is supposed to call me back Monday, but they said there aren't different size brackets.
Any suggestions would be nice.
Thanks in advance.
