I only have eyes for the Kawi turbo. Well, maybe also the Honda CX 650....

The XN85 and Seca were also part of the classic lame-assed 80's factory turbos :lol

This is a lot of old, cool bike for $1650 click

Back in the day when I had an xj650(non turbo), I was on a forum and one of the fellas did a resto on one.
By all accounts it packed a punch and marched along nicely.
Id like one of each of those turbos in my collection starting with your kawi. ha

My very first street bike was an '82 Seca 650 - kind of an OK bike..... Actually no, not really. At least I didn't have to maintain a chain?


Dropped the Turbo off at the restore-guy's shop yesterday to have the tank done. :banana

I don't know much about them but my dad has plenty of war stories about his buddies riding the Secas around back when he was a badass on his GPz.

On another note, I dream of a day when I have the funds to collect all those bikes from that era. I'm always on the lookout for gems like that at my local bike nights. I'm drawn to the older bikes because I've been reading about them since I was a kid from dad's old Cycle Mags that he still has in HIS parent's basement.

Anyway, last week there was a guy with a mint condition H1 Kawasaki. :drool

The seca 550 was actually the bike I hoped to find because I had ridden one quite a bit and really like it. It was cooler-looking with a little 1/4 fairing. Pre-internet, I shopped locally and found a 650 so I took that. But it was heavier and shaft drive. But still an OK bike.

They also made a 750 and 900



Actually, here's mine back in the day, with my old man doing something to the turn signal
