Anybody notice how much

goes on over in the 1000 forum, it seems like the moment anything bad is said about the 1000 everybody ahs their panties in a buch and is up in arms yelling about journalist, marketing, dealers...
whats gonna happen next year if some other bike is crowned liter bike King? Makes me glad I have a 10 year old bike

, that when put back together will ahve more than 140rwhp and weigh less than 430lbs

if I had a 1000 I would have no time to ride it because I would have to read every single motorcyle rag to make sure all of the journalist still hailed my 1k as king shit

gimme a fucking break quit crying and ride your fucking bike.

I do not care what is written about my old bike - I enjoy riding it - that's all.

Never had a new bike - don't want to spend too much money if I can get a good used one, like my gixxer.
No headaches about getting stolen or scratches.
Riding is what counts!

at my local drag strip, everyone has a 1000 or a hayabusa. but they still come up to my old bike and just stare at it! theres just something about the old bikes- thats why i have one!

Sucks to be a wannabe. Dude, my 750 can scare the crap out of me by full throttle in third. Or when the wheel comes up at the right rpm just by a turn of the throttle.

i to have noticed all the guys with the new liters in my area take a hard look at my 92 750,after it has gone by them like they were standing still.they can do all the crying they want,i just like to ride.after all its not what is in it but what is on it.

Thanks Dontilgon, and Dave your bike looks great. My 92 GSXR1100
is a 1186cc, 20lbs of boost running, 265hp, 220+ mph gixxer. I love the Hahn turbo, the bike rides like a stocker, until you roll on the throttle, then it just accelerates like a raped ape. The only drawback, it that it is non intercooled, that would put me in the 300hp range. She has 1 42mm mikuni flatslide carb. Also an electric fuel pump to supply fuel under boost. The only problem I have had has been my fault, ordered the wrong coils .7 ohms, and took out a diode in the factory CDI, I have since ordered tthe correct 3 ohm coils and the Dyna2000 to replace the stock CDI box. Here is the left side pic:

We were riding our bikes when most of these image boys were still sucking their mother’s tits. So I am 35 what the hell I still have a lot of fun.

My brother and I both ride 86 1100s and we both agree that the new bikes are nice but wouldn't trade ours for one.
