this may be a stupid question but i was wondering if the subframe on a 2005 gsxr 1000 can be welded. Is it aluminum, because I cracked it and was wondering if i have to buy another one or if i can just weld it?

It's aluminum, it can be welded. It's not a majorly stressed portion of the frame (well, unless you are a fatass or have a very hefty girl on back).

mine broke and i got it welded. my sluty gf hasnt fallen off yet =(
