This was my first season on a street bike, and I loved every minute of it! However, after seeing post after post of members talking about their track day experience, I want to get out in the worst way come next season. Can any Canucks on the board give me some suggestions for where I might start looking for some track day events for next season. I want to find out asap, so that I can begin to invest in some neccesities for next year, (leathers, riding boots, etc etc). Any help would be greatly appreciated, and maybe I'll see you out there next season!

I'm way on the other side of the country but here are a few links to get you started. I see you are in Alberta:

Calgary Race City: http://www.roadracing.org/
Edmonton Road Racing: http://www.emra.ca/
This is more of a southern Ontario/Que site but the forum section is very good for info: http://www.cherrypickerracing.com/

Good Luck and keep us posted. I did track for the first time this summer and it beats the absolute crap out of riding on public roads.:cheers

Thanks for the input, I will have to check out those sites. I found a Calgary based forum that should be a big help when it comes to getting in on some track days, or just joining up on some street rides. Yeah, deffinetly need to get on the track so I can get on this thing. Way too much shit can go wrong learning to lean all the way over on the street! Well, around here for sure. THe city loves it's sand in the winter, and that stuff is still around come fall.
