I am using a car jack under the rear shock to raise and lower the rear end when I adjust my links,I have the ones with the predrilled holes, makes it real easy to do, if you have the jack with you. Is there any way to do it without using a jack to raise and lower the rear end.

Ive learned to do it myself but it is a little hard and you also take a chance of dropping the bike,if you have a friend with you though you can do it without a jack.
Anyhow i get everything all loose and once the the bolt is ready to come out i use my knee to hold the bike up and just slowly lower/raise the bike to where i need it.It does work but you need to be carefull as you dont drop your baby.
If you have a friend with you its pretty much the same but just have your friend hold the bike up by the subframe or rear passenger pegs and raise/lower it that way.

hope this helps
Tom
