I'm coming home in May and hopefully I'll be able to get a bike in time for the summer, so I got a few questions for u all.

1. Where are the good Suzuki dealers ?

2. Good mechanics, you know someone who knows what their talking about and won't rip me off

3. Best tracks to go to.

4. Track schools where are they ? and how much £££ will I have to pay

5. Is there anyone better than Hastings for insurance ?

6. Parts ?? the best parts dealers (not online stores).

7. How tough are the Old Bill on bikers ( speeding and mods ) over here the police tend to leave bikers alone.

Any help would be great, I'm really looking for stuff in the London & South East area

Ok

1. P.D Bikes, Croydon or Brighton. Good for servicing, buys etc, not the cheapest though but I have been dealing with the Brighton branch for about 5 years and they are very helpful and have new and used bikes (mmm Suzuki's
)
Castlemoto in Brighton is good for parts, bikes, clothing.

2.P.D Bikes, different from above (different name) two guys run this Steve and Pete in Brighton. Tiny little place, a bit grotty but so is my garage. These boys are cheap, they look like farmers but they know their stuff and where to get second hand parts etc etc.
SBK bikes, again in Brighton, good for servicing MOT's etc.
Bikes of Brighton

There are a few more but they didn't make much of an impression on me.

3. Track days. Well I am a wuss and not done one, but my friends travel up to Donnington Park and come back saying how good it was etc etc etc
But I am sure someone else on here can help ya.

5. As above

6. Carole Nash, better customer service than Hastings Direct and I moved from Hastings because they didn't insure anyone under 25 for my size of bike. Carole Nash gives free recovery with RAC too, and gave me the cheapest quote for my bike.

6. As 1 & 2 above.

7. Depends if you ride silly round town, gasto's are everywhere and are multiflying like rabbits. Although someone round these parts are vandalising them

Enjoy, and make sure you get a bike quick, before the summer comes!

3. Try www.uktrackdays.co.uk for a listing of trackdays. Best tracks are probably Oulton, Croft. If you like to venture a bit further afield Nogaro in South France is superb.

4. Look in PB/Superbike. Also check out Suzuki as they have track schools.

5. Heaps better insurers than Hastings - Like Julia1 I must rate Carole Nash.

6. Robinsons Foundary (01227) 454366 are the best. Have been buying parts from them for almost 10 years and they'll post it anywhere.

depends what area your riding in. But relative to european police you may well be in for a shock.

run with a small numberplate and a noisy race can and be prepared to be looked on as public enemy number 1.

there not all cunts mind - Ive heard there is one good English copper around somewhere who doent lie, isnt condescending and self superior and isnt trying to set the world to rights because he was bullied at school.

1. Robinsons in canterbury. Best Suzuki dealer in the UK. Supply all parts for bikes older than 6 years to all the other dealers.

2. Me when I get my new premises.

3. Euston.

4. No idea except follow a courier.

5. Phone around as it depends what you mean by good.

6. see 1

7. The Met Police have better things to do than pull bikes for loud cans but loads of cameras, Thames valley will take you to court for a loud can and shoot you for small plates. Essex tries to ban everyone speeding on or around the M11. Norfolk are nice and laid back and didn't chase me when I overtook them at 120 in a 40 along the A11 by snetterton so I like them.

3) Personal faves, Cadwell, Silverstone GP, Brands GP.

4) Fave organisers, No Limits, Focused Events, Track Time have good rep but never used.

5) Hastings are rip-off no good non-pay out bastards!!!! MCE good on price, Carole Nash very good when mate of mine had to claim....

Coming back to the unpredictable climate ehhh??? Wonder how long until it pisses you off......
