I have a slightly bent fork. The bike is very ridable and you get use to it quickly. I want to replace it though and am having a hard time finding a front fork set. How can I find out what newer forks will fit. I am willing to change the tree and everything.

I have a set of 95 750 forks or 200+frt and also can tell you how to swap newer forks over complete.
1) get forks complete with wheel and brakes
2) press steering stem out of your lower triple
3) press steering stem out of 01 or newer lower triple
4) press in your steering stem and use a new stock lower bearing
5) make a T sleeve for the upper triple for the smaller stem
6) Bleed brakes and off you go.

naaaa, the newer stem is thinner than the old stem.

I dunno why but bones is the only one Ive heard that swapped the stems directly. Couple of people in the OC forum said they aint the same too.... (me included!)

If they are different it is the triple you are using. I used the stem from a 88 750. ALL GSXR's had the same lower bearing ID so if anything it would be larger (could not be smaller) and a machine shp could turn it down to match.
