hey just talked to superbike mike about a 902 big bore kit. really thinking about getting it. any of you guys have one that big, or heard about his work.

i heard that, on the street, that size motor might overheat...(is that the 3mm or 4mm?)...just what i heard talking to guys about piston kit for the 750...lol

Heard same thing on the 902 bore that is extreme you have a heck of a time trying to keep it cool. That is a whole lotta bore and very thin walls can't dissapate the heat as well and if serves me right i think you will more than likely be on pump gas unless he gets you those lower compression pistons that will cost a tad bit more.

jeez that is one big bore... I thought like 817 was about as big as it gets...

APE only sells up to like a 791 or something, 902 is one big mofo!!

yah the thin walls would make it run hot as hell, and the motor prob won't last all that long

I would not do it on a street bike... maybe if you are racing and need the power. But you have to think about the live of that motor... I dont think it would last very long.. lol
