Pretty good run today, we left much later than usual. We waited for Big John
And his crew of part time riders. They like to ride somewhere and eat be home
before 12. 2 of the newer guys came with us to do some actual riding. When
they heard we ride the track they wanted to ride with us. One of the guys tried
to pass Ernie in a turn on 301 and ran off and went down on the other side of the road. He broke both his mirrors and front brake reservoir bracket. We
gave him the speech before the ride and again after the crash. His boy told him
that what he did was stupid and he said so himself. He behaved the rest of the ride and I worked with him on his BP.

Not a bad ride at all. The traffic wasn't too bad and the weather was awesome!
Looking forward to the track this sat coming!!!:cheers

Eee. Scary stuff. At least he didnt brake his neck..

Me and the missis woke up a bit late to join yall. So we took the 9w to 84, to 17, 55, lunch at the slowest food establishment on the planet, down the mountain towards high point down 23 to 46 and home. In total close to 300 miles in a 1977 porsche 911s. That I recently had the pleasure of rebuilding.

It spent the past 10 years in a friends garage. I offered to take it off his hands, he decided hel keep it, but let me take it for the summer. And cover all repair expenses.. it needed a new battery, alternator, wiring, reupholstered interrior and some other odds and bits to get sorted. Still leaks a bit of oil and runs rough. But handles amazing, is lighter then 2400lbs and has manual, unassisted everything! Clutch is a wire, brakes are unassisted hydraulic, same for the steering. It wails, spits and sputters.

Wonderful sunday spent I gotta tell ya..
