HI All,
Always had a hard time starting this beast. IIt's mostly all stock 750 with Mikuni Flatslides. Just put in fresh oil, new plugs, and a new air filter ( stock airbox). It takes about 3-4 attemps to get her fired up. Each time I will hold on to the start button for about 10 seconds with the choke in the first position.

It will fire right up when its warmed up. But its always a pain when the engine is cold. The bike is stored in a nice warm garage, but this doesn't seem to help.. The bike runs great after it starts.

Any ideas.......

Sounds like it may be a little on the lean side.

Yours is too rich. Had(have) the same problem on mine. Sputters like hell until I keep it above 6k for 15 seconds and still backfires through the exhaust at times. Problem is, I'm too tied up to fix this one right now. Trying to finish off some of the other projects first. At least this one is together and running.
