How would you tell the difference between 750 forks and 1100 forks? the reason I'm asking is because I just bought an '85 750 and the guy told me he had 1100 forks on it. Now I'm not too sure because there's a few things he told me the bike had which it didn't.

1100 forks...from what year 1100? Are they Right Way Up(RWU)? or Up-Side Down(USD)? Do they have any Suzuki stickers that might help us help you? An Image would certainly help if you can post it...

1985/6/7 750's have mechanical anti-dive units

1100's and the Limited Edition 750 have electric anti-dive units (easy to tell, there is a wire going up from them to behind the instruments

Its a reasonable bet that if the forks are Showa, then they are from a 750; if Kayaba, an 1100.
