Ok,be4 you think that im trying to prove something..think again.I always wanted to know "WHY do people always want a 600R" I know its not faster..Ive heard its easier to tune..but i dont really believe that..If anyone got the magazine Motorcyclist --You should have got the month may by now..its a REAL good mag..mostly all about the GSX--since this is the 20th aniversary.I just cant wait to get my hands on the Limited addition 750R its incredible.the paint job..all just Great! Thanks for the Help.

What is so good about the 600R ? what makes it so dam Great? why does most of the people i talk to always want a 600R ? when a 750 would do just fine?

The 600 is cheaper, especially to insure - also, it has more power than most people can utilize anyway - the 750 even more so. Also, although it's more even with the new models, the earlier 600s had a clear weight and handling advantage over the bigger bikes.

All of them are crappy first bikes, though - way too unforgiving, also in terms of braking power...

+1 for SVS. I personally think 600's are just all around fun bikes. Only problem is the new 1000's are as small as the 600! I sat on one (haven't gotten to ride one yet) at the dealship and seat is like half the size of my bikes, it almost feels like you're sitting on a bicycle seat.

In many situations the 600 is funner. Being able to push it to the max, wring its neck, and be right on the edge of crazy. With bigger bikes you must always be aware of the line, and constantly give respect not to cross it.

You know what is really fun? Seeing a 12 year old on an Aprilia RS250 with maybe 60-something HP ride the piss out of everyone else at the track, including those on 750s and 1000s...

hehe, i got a RS50 and those sucker are fun to pimp around the city. I'm currently looking for another one so i could take it on track since the one right now is for my lady
