Just a quick question about brakes. Can I bolt
the 6 piston tokico's of 96-99 750's etc. to my
early (86-88) GSX-R 1100 forks? Is the disc
offset etc. going to work or is it more work than
just bolting them on?

Also does anyone have any for sale?

Thanks,
Adrock.

I'm the lumberjack......DJ Adrock! Beastie boys fan maybe? Yes they will bolt right up with a few washers to be used as shims and longer mounting bolts I put one of the 6 pistons off of my 97 1100 onto my 86 750 now they both run one front brake.Pretty easy swap I say.BTW my 86 stops better with one 6 piston Tokico than it did with two 4 piston Nissins. Of course I am running 90 model front forks on the 86 so maybe you should do a little more research.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Believe it or not that Kat , owned by Big CC racing is a nice bike and is raced by a friend of mine. I have seen it a few times at his house and it is indeed a nice bike and is already running 400bhp or thereabouts and will soon be in the 8 second bracket standing 1/4 ers.

Thanks Guys,

I will have to look into getting some now. May
be s bit stupid since my bike is not finished
yet, but why no strive for perfection.

I have seen pictures of Big CC's Kat and am only
slightly (maybe a little more than slightly)
jealous, but can he say he has one of the only
produciton motorcycles with a pop-up headlight.
He probably doesn't need to say much, I'm sure
the bike says plenty.

Thanks again,
Adrock. (definite Beastie Boys fan)

I have the 94 forks and six pots, and the stock rotors from the 86 would not fit. I had to get rotors from an 88-95 750/89-98 1100.
same diameter, different offset.(the 96+750s have almost zero offset, whereas the older GSXRs had quite an offset to them.
I do not think it would bolt up.
