520 conversion for \'85-\'87 GSXR750?

Anyone know of a source for a 520 chain/sprocket conversion kit for '85-'87 GSXR750? I'm looking with no luck so far.

If my friend can race ALL season on the same lightweight 520 chain with his 170-hp YZF-R1, a 90-hp 750 streetbike will have no problems!

I pieced mine together really cheap on Ebay.... I spent $5 on the Renthal countershaft sprocket, $20 on the AFAM rear sprocket and $45 on an RK Gold O-Ring chain.. The thing to do is first find out which other bike sprockets interchange with those on your bike. This info can be found on any sprocket manufacures web site. Then browse Ebay for those model bikes. To find the best deals look for the bike thats least popular on your match list. If thats too much a pain in the as you can go to a dealer and pay $200 for one.

AFAM's 520 rear sprocket # is 15405
AFAM's 520 front sprocket # is 28402

Chain quality is very important, your friend is probably using a DID ERV2 Gold Chain.... they are the best but RK has one that is pretty good too.

Good grief, AFAM's web page has MUCH more info that Sprocket Specialties web page. There's only, oh, about a HUNDRED bikes that share sprockets with the '85-'87 GSXR750.

Funny to see the 2003 GSXR1000 uses the same 520 front sprocket as my '87 GSXR, haha.
