Will a set of 39mm Keihin flat slide carbs help my 96 GSX-R 750 ? I just bought an almost new set of Keihins for $600 , but haven't had a chance to put them on .

yeah, people think that you need to have FI to make the bike a lot faster. Well, ok I'm making the conversion to the 41mm Tbody/FI conversion, but that's just for much more ease of tuning rather than adjusting needles, fuel screws, sync'ing..... you catch my drift. But carbs will tune fine when you get them down and get a good set of merc sticks to keep them even. Carbs will still work fine, if not well with a turbo system even. You just need to know how to adjust them. That's just the whole key.
