Im still around, and dont plan on leaving :cheers My father filled my workshop with a bunch of junk so i havent been working on the bike like i should. Ive got a set of Marvic mag wheels and USD's that keep calling to me :drool to get my butt in gear and put them on. For now, the airbox WILL be removed and some BMCs are replacing it. Yoshi carbon heatshield will be going on also, but i need to order that too :banghead

Thanks for the kind words Ken, hope all is well w/ everyone. :cheers

What are those red hoses that are inside the box in the first pic? When I removed my carbs I couldn't remember if I had those in my airbox?
If i remeber right, he had an aftermarket carb tuning thing on his bike. So you could dial in mix on the fly. Our bikes never came factory with this, which is why you never saw it on yours.

Got the airbox off today....came out slick.

Quick run thru on how to do it, if anyone else see's this.

1. Remove battery
2.Take off lower fairings, and left mid-fairing(sitting on bike)
3. Remove gas tank and carburetors
4. Remove alternator
5. Slide airbox forward and remove air filter from air box. The air filter will not come out, just slide it back as much as you can so that it clears the airbox
6. Push airbox boots into airbox
7. Slide airbox out...youre done.
