Hello.

I got a year old new bike. I got around 1800 miles on it. I recently serviced the bike after 7 months storage.

It all seemed doing great until I took it for a ride at night.

Temperatures where I live in Dubai were around 95-100F.

While riding at the highway at 80MPH the coolant Temp showed 185F.

At lower highway speed at 60MPH it showed 200F.

The fan does kick in and brings back temperature down. But these temps worries me.

I just moved in to Dubai. Where I lived in Colorado things were way too cold and I never bothered with temps. But here it’s a different matter.

Should I be concerned?

Like spike52 said, you're fine.
One question, you say the fan kicks on and brings temp down, what temp does the fan turn on?

My stock 06 fan doesn't kick on until 220F and off at 210F.
If you're only hitting 200F, you do not have an overheating problem.
