I've been searching all over for some answers... I hope they exist somewhere and I just haven't found them yet.

Trying to find stock trim, full tank of gas bike weight.

I read what Suzuki claims it is (445lbs), but haven't seen anyone actually weigh it. I read that the 1000R is 4 pounds heavier than the base model, but that's all.

The goal is to get the bike under 420lbs with 3/4 - full tank of gas.I have plans for chain/sprocket. Remove passenger pegs. Yoshimura Full Alpha T Exhaust (stainless). Fender Eliminator. Lightweight battery. But that's really it. I can't find any information on what these OEM parts weigh!

Can anyone help out?

I’ve gotten my 17 down to about 395-400lbs with half tank of fuel so far.

Sounds like you're on the right path to shaving the obvious chubby parts. Race or street?

You may not need the abs plug if you flash abs out on the software. Jason might be able to answer that.

What other things are there to do?

I'm looking at Core Moto Apex 6 wheels with ceramic wheel bearings. That should be noticable!

Do people like using carbon fiber fairings at all?

i personally dont mind the abs especially on the street - i am very smooth on the brakes but most racers get rid of it because i dose make brake markers quite a bit longer.
