I think you are likely to spend more money rebuilding one of your motors. Based on what you say about your abilities and that you have a tool kit- not sure what that means but you will need more than a craftsman 200 piece socket set! You should have a shop, work benches, machining capability, and lots of specialty tools. Then by the time you spend all that time and money you will be plagued with running issues and possibly a motor that still doesnt run, and that would really suck. So when you add up the money you spend and likely 300+ hours to complete the motor work, you should just buy a motor that works. Wether you decide to rebuild the motor or not- start a build thread so we can see! Lets not forget that we dont even know what is wrong with the motor.
