I have a bunch of parts that were taken off of a new 2007 GSX-R1000 when it was turned into a race bike. They’ve been stored for 15 years, so it’s time to let them go. If you see something in the photos that interest you, let me know. The only other part that I have that is not shown in the photos is a stock oil pan.

The parts that are wrapped up in plastic include a brand new rear seat, the oil cooler, piston and rod assemblies and some rubber lines.

I may put a detailed list of the parts later, if I get time.

Nice stuff. Off hand, I think the turn signals and radiator screens are aftermarket and/or for another bike. I see the EXCVA but not the exhaust, cat, & mufflers. Perhaps you've already sold them; or is the cat wrapped in bubble wrap at the bottom? I think I see the swingarm pivot shaft and bosses. That seems unusual, did they replace it with titanium? I may still be half awake but can't figure out what the part to the right of the PAIR stuff is. I see the air ducts but not the bodywork, presumably already sold. They replaced the rear shock but I don't see anything associated with the front forks/cartridges. Replacing the pistons & rods indicates that they were serious about it. Ditto the oil cooler.

Some of the parts are already gone. This is what’s left. It was a pretty serious bike, it has a full superbike engine built by Yoshimura’s engine builder. Forks and brakes were works parts, like Yoshimura ran. Same with the shock and the swingarm, etc.

There are a few aftermarket parts in the photos, aftermarket radiator guard screen, couple sprockets, some miscellaneous things.

Do you have any parts you’re looking for, or are you just kicking tires?

^By chance, do you have an oversize tank for a K5/K6 1000? I'm a bit picky there but I'd be happy to look at any that you happen to have. I fear I'll have to go to Beater to get what I want.

Nope, sorry.

I don’t even know if Beater makes them with a bigger capacity. Or if you can get them shipped to the US at this point.

Bumping this to update the ad. I have sold the radiator fan assembly. Everything else is still available.

Some of the stuff you see bubble wrapped includes the stock oil cooler and lines, pistons, rods, camshafts, etc. I also have the crankshaft, not shown.

FWIW, I’ve sold the right hand side rear-set, oil pan and pistons elsewhere.

I’m going to blow this stuff out on eBay, this place seems all but dead.
