I have a problem with my 750. In second gear if i hammer on it i have a huge power loss almost like it wants to die but only between 9-10,000 rpms. If i coast through second gear real easy it doesn't happen. I thought it might be the trans but i broke it open and everything was good. I pulled 3 or 4 codes from the bike and fixed all of them but its still happening any suggestions?

Which codes were thrown? Check the TPS sensor along with the fuel line for kinks.

I just recently had a smilar problem at around 7500 rpms, went through all sensors everything checked ok. Found out that fuel pump was plugged with sediment, pulled apart and cleaned filter sock and cleaned tank, now runs great with no hesitation. Hope this helps.

haven't had that problem yet. btw, i just sold my 97 600 and got a 2000 750. YAHOO!!!
