since when does a 1052 head swap onto an 1127 without major machining and weldup work???

Get a B-12 head, its screw type adjustment and will bolt onto an 1127 ....

Their is no difference between any year 1127 cylinder the head gasket is the same and if you say a bandit12 head will bolt on to a shim 1127 witch it will, i also know they bolt on to a 1052 block. I think you may be thinking of the 750's gg that's where some head swaps can require lots of work

just confirmed with JAY at APE...oil cooled guru..

any year 1100 head will go on,no mods needed..

only reason i want rid of the shim head,is camshaft selection..

thanks to all...

will be putting the 40mm CV carbs, with jet kit and K&N filter in stock airbox for sale soon...

I have an 86 1052 head, an 89-90 1127 head and a 91 1127 head and all three have identical gasket surfaces, the same cam sprockets and the same mounting holes. I can't see any reason you couldn't use any head on any motor.
