I see no ride-height adjuster on the shock in this photo. Somebody is lying through their effin' teeth.

I'm extremely leery of any Ebay seller who doesn't post a photo of their item. Either they are trying to hide something, or they are too stupid to figure out how to post pictures.

Either way, I don't want to deal with them.

Here's the Ohlins page for an '85-'87 GSXR750:

Looks very similar to the Ohlins in the photo sent to FastCat.

Here's the page for the '96-'99 GSXR750:

Note that the '96-'99 has two ride-height adjuster nuts on the bottom of the shock shaft (one locknut, one adjuster nut). Also, the '96-'99 Ohlins has the compression damping reservoir mounted on the shock body itself, with a remote hydraulic preload adjuster (damn nice feature too).

Don't know if it is significant or not, but the first one has a Schraeder valve on the reservoir (not ohlins stock) while the other one has the standard ohlins needle membrane filler. (I mean, its easy to change, but....).

I wonder if the questionable one is one of the fake 'Ohlins' from a YZF750??? Dunno, mine is a '92 and it looks just like the one with the ride height adjuster, not the top one. Hmmmmm???

Okay forgot all that stuff I said earlier, FastCat edited her post so it now leads to the correct ebay item, everything makes sense.

False alarm! Recall the hounds!
