Discussion Starter #1
I parked in the garage and turned it off, then turned it back on, the screen where the milage is on, only showed 8's and weird symbols, then sounded like an old lawnmower trying to start up or a car dieing cause of low battery, but then i checked the lights and they stayed on without dimming at all so i dont think its the battery any suggestions?

Does it crank slowly, similar to a car not getting enough power to crank the starter? Charge the battery fully and take it out for a ride.

Could be the stator or rectifier.

Sounds like the bike isn't charging the battery. I had this same exact issue the last few months. First the stator went out (bike wouldn't stay on, wouldn't charge the battery), then the regulator/rectifier went out (wouldn't charge).

Hook up a multimeter to the battery and turn the bike on. Hold the RPMs around 4-5000, the multimeter should read ~14v.

As for Gixer07 -- If you've charged the battery (put it on a trickle charger or fast charger) and it still won't run then it's not the charging system. A bike can still run with a shot charging system... just until the battery runs out of juice.
We'd have to know the history of this bike to start making educated guesses. (Has it been taken care of? What were the last major services? How many miles? How hard/often is this ridden? Last sparkplug change? Last valve adjustment? Last airfilter change?)
I will say that I would expect the problem may stem from a low idle speed or spark plugs needing to be replaced.

Check this out, this is an excerpt from the service manual which I highly recommend you download. As you can see, there are a TON of things that can be causing problems, so the odds that someone on the internet can guess correctly are fairly low, but there are several people here who know what they're doing who might work with you.

Engine will not start or is hard to start.
Compression too low
1. Valve clearance out of adjustment
2. Worn valve guides or poor seating of valves
3. Mistiming valves
4. Excessively worn piston rings
5. Worn-down cylinder bores
6. Too slowly starter motor cranks (Note: this is in Engrish)
7. Poor seating of spark plugs
Plug not sparking
1. Fouled spark plugs
2. Wet spark plugs
3. Defective ignition coil
5. Defective CMP sensor
6. Defective CKP sensor
7. Defective ECM
8. Open-circuited wiring connections
No fuel reaching the intake manifold
1. Clogged fuel filter or fuel hose
2. Defective fuel pump
3. Defective CMP sensor
4. Defective fuel pressure regulator
5. Defective fuel injector
6. Defective fuel pump relay
7. Defective ECM
8. Open-circuited wiring connections
Incorrect fuel/air mixture
1. TP sensor out of adjustment
2. Defective fuel pump
3. Defective fuel pressure regulator
4. Defective TP sensor
5. Defective CKP sensor
6. Defective IAP sensor
7. Defective ECM
8. Defective ECT sensor
9. Defective IAT sensor
10. Defective AP sensor
Engine idles poorly.
1. Valve clearance out of adjustment
2. Poor seating of valves
3. Defective valve guides
4. Worn down camshafts
5. Too wide spark plug gaps
6. Defective ignition coil/plug caps
7. Defective CKP sensor
8. Defective ECM
9. Defective TP sensor
10. Defective fuel pump
11. Imbalanced throttle valve
12. Damaged or cracked vacuum hose
Engine stalls often.

Honestly it might sound stupid but have you adjusted your throttle? My 07 750 wouldn’t run all to well and then I turned the screw up a little and bumped up the rpms so it went back idling at around 1200-1500. It’s common in Az since we ride pretty much year round that to you have to tweak the throttle based on how hot/cold it is once or twice a year. There should be a screw on the clutch side right under where the throttle lines hook into the throttle body. It’s worth a shot.
