First post on the forum so bear with me

2006 gsxr 1000
10000 miles
Hickman extended swing arm
M4 full exhaust

got beat by a busa naturally and didn’t like that so said screw it I’ll throw ona nitrous kit 30 shot 35 hp. So I can keep up.

bought the MPS spider Dry kit. Decent kit but I more or less re engineered the whole thing.

Used their bottle bracket. Made a “finger” under the bottle just in case it slipped out. Less than likely.

they didn’t give a bracket for the NX solenoid which came with the kit so I made a small bracket for that as well mounted right next to bottle.

next came personal issue with the way they wanted to mount the spider distribution block. They wanted to mount it to the lid of the air box. I thought that was silly 1 cause of you take it on and off how do you truly know if the nozzles are where they are supposed to be?
so I made another bracket and was able to bolt it to the bottom side of the air box. Had to re-bend the lines for the nozzles cause 3 or 4 were spraying directly to the side wall of the throttle bodies. I didn’t want the not to pool up on the side so I re bent those to spray in a more efficient manner.

next I hated everything about their arming set up. I threw the whole thing away made another bracket to mount a switch for arming/nitrous tune. Alsopurchased aNX wide open throttle switch.

power commander should be here tomorrow. I’ll have to wire that to the arming switch to change the tunes back and forth.

my one major question has to do with the tune. MPs says to add 12% mor fuel for my 30 shot. I’m only going to add that at WOT because that is the only time I will see spray. Power commander has a base map tune for the M4 set up I have so I was just going to add the 12% in addition to what their tune is using . Someone mentioned something about addingdouble the due to the 8 injectors ? Any help would be awesome thanks

Living in central Illinois it’s hard to drive 3-4 hours to get a dyno tune. That also being said no that isn’t the long term goal is to do a generic map. Yes that’s what I am starting with. But not the goal. You find me a tuner in the general area and I would gladly make a call.

Sorry don't have much advice to give, other than to second what was said above, I'd say its worth putting it on a dyno, at least to check AFR's at WOT.

Nice build, how much did the Busa get you by? was it from the dig or rolling?

Also how much over standard is your arm?

he beat me from both. Dig and a 40 roll he’s about 30lbs heavier than I am and on a heavier bike beat me by about 3 lengths ish
