Hello Billv I have some questions, I had a shortened harness made it has been months and the engine still is not running. Very irritating I have ordered a stock harness, so there’s a lot of things I don’t need. I have looked up a lot of them in the forum. Kick stand , clutch, t.o. , ex. . My question is the others not needed how to terminate with a resistor or what. My harness now has the lights out , that harness goes from the big connector to the speedo nothing in between. I only have the main fuse 30 amp , so the 6 that I will be getting with oem what to do lm only using 2 maybe 3 of them . What I don’t need is all the lights front brake switch, speed sensor,side stand , clutch sensor , exhaust sensor. I have found cL.sen., exh. Sen., t.o., eng. Stop switch. Would appreciate some response thx

The turn signal relay is also an ignition interlock relay. Have you somehow removed/bypassed it? Do you have power to the ECM (both O/W and R/Bl)? Is the tip-over sensor still there? Is the voltage on the O/Y lead to the ECM around 9 V instead of battery voltage? Is the voltage on the ECM's R lead 5 V? There's a color wiring diagram here that is significantly easier to follow.
