There was a chap on youtube a couple of years ago who did this swap , if you search on there it'll help, in fact I think he did a few videos on various mods - I think he used the 750 K6/7 forks, as they're slightly longer. I fitted a GSXR750k8 - L0 front end on my 1992 1100, it was easy, just had to find a special top bearing (it's an odd size, but bearing specialists will help) - the first gen. bikes are slightly more difficult - there's been a few threads on the board in the past, you should be able to find one on the search bar facility.

No personal experience, but Cognitomoto are well known to make quality high end stuff. Tons of high-end cafe builds (fitting USD forks to 70s Honda CBs) use them and they're highly reputable.

Allballs have a front end swap calculator that gives you the correct bearings needed for fitting frame/front end.
(I'm apparently not trusted yet to post link, but check allballsracing.com and the "Fork Conversions" heading)

According to that what you need are:

ID OD Width (Allballs PN)

top: 30 47 12 (99-3540-5)
bottom: 20 55 17 (99-3519-5)
