alright, i was just wondering if you lose the power valve on the 05 exhaust when you go to a slip-on, and if it's a big loss or if it's worth it. i'm wanting to put a new pipe on mine and i don't want to lose the S.E.T. valve, which seems to be part of the stock slip-on
. any help you guys can offer me one this would be greatly appreciated.

I fell the same. I've heard both it is for EPA and it is for power whats the word. My other bike didn't have a valve but with the full exhaust, slide stops, volecity stacks, K&N air filter, AIS removal, and a custom map on my 03 & 05 R6 I did lose power under 5k, top was nice though. So which is it: keep it or lose it?
