I took my stock 01 750 to The track for the first time last tuesday..The bike is stock with a slip on..I only got 2 runs and I bogged them both..First run was [email protected] with a 1.9 60 ft time, next pass I ran a [email protected] with a 2.0..I'm going back again this tuesday earlier so I can get more then 2 passes and hopefully get some 1.7's and run mid 10's..The 10.3's that the mags are claiming just seems a bit fast for this bike, but I was racing in 80 degree high humidity so we'll see next time..Anyone else on this forum race their 750 at the track??I haven't seen any numbers..

got a 02 750

d&d bolt on, k&n air filter, pc3 with arrow map

with stock gearing best was 10.83 @ 128 mph i was 219 lbs and add full leathers
temp was mid 70's, in texas, about 40ft elevation

with -1 in the front 10.73 @ 132 was about 205 with leather jacket added over that
temp was 40's, in texas

never set up the suspension for drag though, so could be faster.

Cool, It's kinda tough to determine your before and after result of the sproket though, being that the temps were 30 degrees apart..Is it typical to gain 4mph from a mild sprocket change??That would be a nice jump..Seems like your getting off the line pretty well, were you getting 1.7's or so??Whats considered an excellent 60ft time for a stock bike??

Nice times..I went back again for 4 more runs..I managed a [email protected] time it was 85 degrees F 84% humidity and I am about 180lbs dressed..I beat a kid on an 05 R1 3 times so I was pretty happy..I also ran a [email protected] and 2 10.9 passes..Next I'd like to strap the bike and change the sprockets and see what kind of gain I get with that..I also need a new air filter..Here is how my timeslip reads..
60ft 1.865
330 4.762
1/8 7.040
mph 107.36
990 8.963
1/4 [email protected] mph

Anyone else have stock timeslips to compare to??
