01-02 750\'s Dyno\'d. N20 and Devil Pipes, EMS, techlusion

Hey guys just got back from the dyno with the following bikes.

2001 GSXR750; 9,000 miles. Devil SB2 high mount slip-on, Techlusion fuel box, KN filter
Bike made 120.8hp after 3 runs, rest and 3 more runs.

2002 GSXR750, 25,000 miles. Devil [email protected] high mount slip-on, Yoshimura EMS, KN, TRE and 25 dry shot of N20
Without N20 the bike made 117hp (down 2 from last year)
With the N20 the bike made 129hp. (spray from 7k-redline)

All in all the Techlusion bike made more top end hp, but that is contributed to the motor being a little stronger not really the air/fuel. The EMS on the 02 did help the 02 produce more hp in the low, low end than the 01. Otherwise both dyno's are nearly 99% identicle with the 01 making a little spike up abover 10,000 rpm.

I will post the graphs when i get them scanned.

My other with a full Akro and EMS made 124 also.

The N20 was the cool thing......though it was a 20 shot, it made a 12 hp spike clear across the boards.

Something must be wrong with your bikes, or the dyno is reading low.

My 2000 750 on my older motor ran a 139 hp on a dyno jet. That motor had 20k miles, slip on, cdi remapped from another bike, k7n, 20/50 oil

That old motor blew and I put another motor in it. This new motor has 12k miles when I ran it on the same dyno. Same mods but this time I ran it with foul plugs, the dyno tech told me something was wrong and that the graph looked like ass. Well it put out 124hp with the foul plugs.

Next day I swapped out the plugs and it felt like a new bike. So try swapping the plugs out and take it back see if that helps.

Ibid-
No as a matter of fact it is an accurate dyno. He has a data base of all the bikes he has dyno'd and 00-03 750's range from 115-120 stock or with slip-ons. He also has a data base of all sort of other bikes too.

Your reading of 139hp is not right, or that motor was so loose it was about to blow. 01-02 1k's only pull in the 145 range. As long as your bike is running and running properly plugs won't affect your hp but maybe one hp (unless you got the wrong ones in). So your bike with the 124 on fouled plugs likely wouldn't do any better with new ones much.

His dyno reads accurate and not inflated numbers that many read. Dyno shops inflate numbers with the different error options on the dyno and can "make" hp.

My air/fuel ratio is dang near as perfect as you can get with the characteristic woopes the GSXR motor makes.

As far as my N20 jet, ill have to check...I think its a 20 or 25 jet.
