I just purchased this 1388 all original milage 1100 Sport from a guy out of San Fransisco, CA on 03/28/18. This bike was sitting in a climate controlled garage, and she has never seen or was ridden in the rain.
1997 Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport (Nero)
Out in the open! This is one good looking engine and gearbox! I'm glad that MG didn't cover that engine up like many other manufacturers did to their bikes engines.
Nero, which is Italian for Black. Moto Guzzi painted the 1995 & 1996 1100 Sports in a true black color, the 1997 was painted in a Nero metallic paint, which changes color from a true black to a bronze, depending upon the angle of the sunlight shining on it, or a person looking at her. I like the Nero color a lot. Moto Guzzi painted the 1100 Sport in 5 base colors, which were: Black/Nero, Silver, Blue, Red, & Yellow. I have at least one of each color now in my stable.
This bike will get the Staintune full exhaust, which will include the crossover.
