    So what did you do to fix the no-cranking issue? What hose? There's the crankcase ventilation hose and the PAIR valve hose. Off-hand I'm thinking that your SET valve isn't opening or your secondary throttle isn't opening. But we need more information.

    To expand on what tsonksen said. An ECM failure would tend to affect all RPMs, not a zone. I guess it's possible that it's not firing the secondary injectors. But I'd expect you to be able to rev it beyond 6K on just the primaries. So we're back to the exhaust or maybe the secondary throttle...

    Lithium battery. Not sure about this but I'm thinking that your front calipers are the two piece Tokicos. They're not highly regarded. The later monoblocs are better. You'll need a matched MC and a Brembo RCS would be nice. Different brake pads, Vesrah, etc.

    The lower filter (strainer) is cleanable. I'm inclined to say that the upper (main) filter can only be temporarily cleaned but others claim otherwise. But you really ought to first figure out if the pump is the problem and that's what the flow test is about. P.S. What year?

    Probably a build up of cast off chain lube. To some extent it depends on what lube you use and how much. Pull the sprocket cover and take a better look.

    Clogged main fuel filter. Run the fuel flow test. Also check that the fuel line isn't kinked. But that's not going to happen by adding gas.
  19. Weird clanking noise when leaning bike on its left side

    Does the noise come from the left side or does it just appear when tilted to the left? Does the clanking rate vary with engine RPM? Off-hand it could be the water pump, generator, fuel pump, or fan. But there's lots of other possibilities. Hopefully it's not further inside the engine.
