Post ORing Template for Cylinder Connector Weeping/Template

I'm leaking coolant in the area of 17861-01H00 on my gsxr 750 k7.

It looked like the hoses. Replaced them - after going on spirited spins there is still wetness in the area. Mechanic and I think the only remaining option is the oring part number 17863-01h00

However the part supplier in my area is away for 2 weeks. There's an oring express custom manufacturer in the area but I need the bike to get to him so I can't use the existing oring as a template.

What are the chances its possible to source a template/dimensions of the oring in question?

Why not just order it through Suzuki, OEM Partshouse or something like that. You'd get it in the mail in a couple of days if anything.

+1 but you'll have to make sure that they have it in stock. It's unlikely that you'll be able to get an engineering or other dimensioned drawing for the part, though you could remove the inlet connector and measure the O-ring groove. Another possibility is to make a gasket from sheet to use in addition to the O-ring.

"oring express custom manufacturer in the area but I need the bike to get to him"
Is that to bring him the already removed O-ring for duplication? For a short trip you might get by with Permatex Right Stuff in place of the O-ring. Unless you have an overheating problem, you could loosen the radiator cap to prevent any pressure buildup.

There's a smaller port on the side of the connector that isn't shown connecting to anything. Does a hose run from it to the oil cooler?

Yes and as a matter of fact, that hose and another hose were replaced not long ago after splitting one after the other.

The hose you speak of is collecting fluid at the end of it at that small port on the non-oil-cooler side. A few minutes ago before posting this - i was starting to question whether it was oil or coolant collecting. Kept running it till it was hot and exploring with a flashlight. My coolant is blue, but what I saw collecting looked red tinted for a moment. I'm exhausted for the day though and have had nothing but bike related problems - not just with this one today and I'm running out of daylight.

EDit:
hose #4 here:

Edit2: my oil is red

So the intercooler is leaking oil into the coolant? Or is it just coming down from the valve cover or head gasket?

Dude, ronayers.com will get you that part tout-suite.

That being said, if you can't take a housing for an O-ring to a "custom manufacturer," he's not a custom o-ring manufacturer, OR what is most likely, this one-off job isn't worth his time.
