K7 gearing fitment question...

So I'm running the Vortex 520 gear down set up which is 47t on rear and -1 in front. Right now with the chain tight I'm back about 3/4-1inch back on the adjusters. I would like to try a 50t on rear if I can fit it without buying a new chain and sprocket kit. I was hoping to find someone on here that has done this with ease?? I'm not sure how much size difference there is between the two?? I'm thinking and hoping there will be enough slack to pull it off without buying a second chain kit. Thank you in advance, I know its a simple question just hoping to save some $$$.

Re: K7 gearing fitment question...

Measure the distance between the centres of 4 link pins on your chain. Those four pins will be three links. Divide it by 2 (not exact science, just rough estimate) and that is the distance your wheel will have to move.
