Speedometer & SpeedoHealer

I just bought my 2006 gsxr 600. It has a speedohealer.

The speedometer was working properly. Just a couple of days I decided to mess with the speedohealer.

I pressed the 2 buttons to see if it even worked. It lit up and then shut off.

Now my bike’s speedometer is not working properly......

It works but it is so far from being accurate. While I go 50-60mph my bike’s speedometer reads 20-25mph.

Am I the one that screwed it up?

Haha and if I did, what can I do to fix it?

TIA

Go to the website & get the manual to calibrate it.

Re: Speedometer & SpeedoHealer

RTFM is good advice. This is distant memory but I seem to recall that the SpeedoHealer maintains two conversions plus no conversion and it's controlled by the buttons. I think that there's also a KPH to MPH conversion feature that you may have activated.

...because kids today are easily overwhelmed by spark plugs, speedo healers and air filters. It verges on Rocket Science.:

I'm pretty much a rocket scientist then

aka mechanically inclined enough to handle the basics. I can see now how fortunate I was to be taught how to work on stuff from a young age.
