Engine displacement

I just recently bought a used engine from somebody and I want to know if it's a 600 or 750 how do I find out are there numbers anywhere on the crankcase or the cylinders?

Re: Engine displacement

Check the Engine Identification Number (EIN) on the right side. The 750 EIN starts with R, the 600 with N.

Also, there are stamping's on the back of the engine case where the rear shock sits.
If the first letter is:
T-it's a 1000
R-it's a 750
N-it's a 600
