Replaced chain & sprockets, having trouble with clutch

I replaced the chain and both front and rear sprockets. Unfortunately I cannot find the sweet spot for the clutch push rod. Anyone have suggestions on how to get this working?

Very annoyed...

You mean to get the cover back on, or after it's back on?
