GSXR 750 K7 loose brake disc

on my GSXR 750 K7, which i recently bought, has loose brake disc, my local repair shop says it is ok, another repair shop says they can
send it to machine shop to compress the rivets and tighten them

i am afraid to ride the bike, also i have not seen such loose brake disc on my previous Honda/Suzuki bikes

what do you suggest. better to replace or to compress the rivets

i am getting aftermarket wave discs for 280USD ARASHI brand, OEM are very expensive, second hand OEM in good condition around 140USD

Thanks and Regards

Re: GSXR 750 K7 loose brake disc

It sounds like you're talking about the buttons between the carrier and the rotor. Do a Google search for "full floating" and you'll see that it was a popular mod 10+ years ago. Then read this. I was originally thinking that yours may have been modded. But if it's only on one side, I'm thinking that the disc ought to be replaced. Haven't checked in quite a while but I thought that used OEM discs were cheaper, or is that for two?
