I guess he walked with a cane and lost his footing on some stairs in the press box and tried to catch himself but couldn't do so before he fell out the front which was open. He fell approx 30ft and landed head first onto the concrete of the bleachers. CPR revived him on scene but he died at the hospital at 2:34am.

ďThe San Diego Chargers family is greatly saddened by the loss of Walt Daniels. Walt loved the team and loved working in the press box on game days for more than 20 years. Our prayers are with his family and friends during this most difficult time.Ē

What a sad story, my thoughts are with his family... My dad used to work Broncos games in the late 60's just so he could go to them.
