This is the kind of thing that gets people to not be so afraid of making small changes on their bikes to see how it reacts good or worse and expecting some sort of result because you actualyl have an idea what it "should" do. I know going to the track i'd set everything up the night before so i wouldnt have to scrwe with anything that day but i think now i'll try some stuff throughout the day and make some notes.

I bought both of his videos and one of them he went through a bunch of case studies with various riders at the track and analyzed each ones tires, made some suspension adjustments, sent them out again and they each start coming back in with progressively cleaner looking tires with less tears etc on them.

Sub'ed. So do those actually tell you HOW to adjust a bike for your weight or more/less what the advantages are?

I'm at work so when I click on them I get blocked.
I'll check it out at home this week.
Also, I'm sure this is a question but if you weigh say, 225, you adjust the bike for that weight plus whatever the gear weighs right?

You cannot "adjust" springs that are too stiff or too soft for your weight. At 225 you are a little too heavy for the stock springs in your bike (if in fact you have the stock springs that came with your bike). So you don't adjust, you first replace. Then you adjust the preload and rebound for the proper rate springs for your weight.
