Some quick pics of my GSXR 1000 header conversion with a devil cf high mount

Just some quick pics I took of my project and figured I'd share since I have yet to see a 1000 header conversion with a high mount. I was in the process of rebuilding my K5 that was missing the entire exhaust system so I opted to do a 1000 header conversion in the process. I also found a carbon fiber devil high mount off of eBay to mate to it as well. Both the header and slip-on were from a 03-04 gsxr 1000. I'll do a complete write up of my build when I'm done.

I had an original Devil high mount on another 04 that I totaled. I loved that exhaust. That looks like a newer one. Looks good.

Thanks. I'm excited to hear how it sounds when I start it.

Nah, that is the style of exhausts on those year bikes. Not everything needs to be a shorty!

Again, I had an original one and I loved the sound. Deep and throaty but not obnoxious. I think they were bought out and are no long sold in the US so I am not sure if design had changed during that time.

I was thinking about shortening it by 6" but didn't want to take a perfectly good exhaust and then hacking it. Especially considering how hard it is to find these exhaust in decent condition.
