n e one from overseas?

whats the diff. between the US 750(2001)and the overseas(japan etc.) 750??.. heard that the overseas gixxer makes more power(b/c of the us emissions)..thanks

Not sure - I thought the US ones were from Japan in the first place.
Only difference I know of is the US and EURO spec bikes which are not that much different besides pass button near where the turn signal knob which activates the little light inside the front headlight housing and of course the VIN # start with a different Letter.

Thought the US spec ones were down on power due to the PAIR system fitted to them.

Japanese spec bikes are way restricted......way way restricted. Exhausts, mapping, and speedos...

I am in Japan and my buddy is buying the K5 1000 (US spec) and Japan is putting in a baffle in the exhaust the reduce noise. I think will reduce power also.

I'm also in Japan, Fussa City to be precise. Yeah the Japanese models are weaker than the US models, but the Malaysian (Spelling...???) spec bikes are suppose to have the most power. They have no restrictions, so there pretty much death on wheels...
