bike is coming along and it\'s almost the summer now.........

So the old paint is long gone and the new is on. Tcutting the blue started tonight for a few hours but it's time well spent.

I'll tcut for another hour tomorrow night and then on with the stickers and I'll spoil the whole thing with the dreaded laquer...........wish me luck.

Re: bike is coming along and it\'s almost the summer now.........

Well the tcut is finished and the stickers are on now ! and then I looked for the lacquer that I was sure that I had bought ages ago and I am again a knobhead as I have every colour primer but no bloody lacquer so it looks like it won't be out this weekend after all, bollocks !

Anyway I'll get it all cleaned up on Saturday and I'll get some full bike pics on here so you can all tell me that the tanks stickers should be red and not chrome. I'm thinking of getting a new rear end from an 1100N so I can get two seat on now though so maybe a blue rear with some chrome stickers is on the way anyhow..........

Re: bike is coming along and it\'s almost the summer now.........

got it out today, bought some lacquer yesterday but when I tested it it came out like glue, thank god I never put it near the tank I would have seem my arse in a big way.........

Anyway it looks like this........ rear will be changed to get a rear seat on so then I'll get chrome stickers on there too and I'll change the front ones for chrome too, it just looks loads better on the blue I reckon even if a little odd at the minute...

That looks awesome. I love the newer GSX-R's, but the old cradle-framer's are still the only real Gixxers
