I'm off road now. 2013 WR250R. Street legal but set up for the woods. Had the suspension completely rebuilt for some of the hilly, rocky and gnarly stuff up in northwest NJ.

As long as you hit upload after each individual pic, it seems it will let you do more than one in one post.

Yup that worked for me, I was able to have 5 in a single post but I don't like how they're side by side instead of one after another.

Badass.

I miss riding offroad. I wasn't particularly good at it but I liked it. Funny, I was a prodigy on a skidoo and was dragging hard parts everywhere on my streetbikes but I simply could never get comfortable jumping either of my dirtbikes.

Yeah I'm better on street too. I'm so slow off road. But I can usually get through everything the better riders can just slower. The only thing I dislike is some of the terrain is so tough, it becomes more work than fun.

Yeah if you're not doing tight, technical single track trails, a larger bike is fine.

I bought my first dirtbike AFTER I was an animal on the street. I believe that order of events was why I was MX-challenged.

Yeah, as a young 'un back in the 80s, I went down 2-3 times every day I spent off road. I used to say 'if you didn't crash, you're not having enough fun'. My skeleton would not put-up with that much fun anymore. Come to think of it, maybe it's a good thing that the guy selling that old XL600 turned into a douchebag.

Re: Ride picís past and present ...

A ride by my lonesome around our local lake in Summersville, WV, US. The second is another ride by my lonesome across a scenic highway from Richwood, WV, US to Marlinton, WV, US. The third is a ride, once again alone haha, underneath the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayetteville, WV, US. Sometimes itís nice just to be alone with the scenery and the sound of your motor!

That sure looks more bad-assed than my neighbor's (back in the day) virago 550. I'm not a custom guy but that does look very nice.
