My K5

hey guys, wanted to share some pics of my k5.
got the following mods at this time;

wilber suspension
gilles rear/brake set
lasergp exhaust system (slipon)
pilot power xenon installed
rizoma brake fluid reservoir (also in gold accent)

the footpegs and buddy seat have been removed lately.
i'm planning for a nice rework of the coating on some parts. Especially the front lower side of the tank is scratched badly by the previous owner so that will be completely redone.
I have been looking around for carbon side panels (below the tank), and probably will go with these from tekarbon.

The gold turns me off, but I still think it's tasteful. Nice ride

still considering to powdercoat the wheels in black so the bike keeps some of the gold accents like the rear sets etc.

Re: My K5

You need to redo that last pic with the seat cowl on.

Re: My K5

Looks good. Those are pretty expensive trim pieces! Was looking to replace mine also as they are a little worn.

thanks man! by the way i installed carbon side panels (beneath tank) from gbmoto today. i like the way they stand out a bit (a bit more lighter tone than the original). overall really happy with the looks and quality.
these panels came as 1 whole so you dont need the uppper small piece in there.

Nice! I might look into some as I ordered a carbon fiber rear tire hugger (was missing when I purchased the bike). Would go well with it.
