Riding boots or shoes

Hey guys,

I have been looking for riding shoes/boots for a while now. I like the Joe Rocket Trixie boots but they are sold out everywhere. I like a boot or shoe that is slim fitting. I have narrow feet but wear a size 8.5-9. I don't want a bulky boot and from the websites it is hard to tell what is going to be bulky and what is slim fitting. I am not a fan of the skater look either :/.Any suggestions?? I want to stick around the $100 range for right now which limits my choices. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, If you have own the boots/shoes you suggest please tell me if they are true to size or run large or small. I am looking for something that can be worn all day.

Thanks!!

Not what you are really asking but these are what I wear. I find them very comfy but then, when I ride, I ride and don't tend to go walking around. You may get more help if you go to girlriders.com.

With a $100 limit, you almost might as well just wear hiking boots. Not gonna find much in the way of actual protection for $100 or less. Might be able to track down something used for that low...

Re: Riding boots or shoes

I know this is an old thread, but I wear these:
http://www.cyclegear.com/CycleGear/S...29653_59409_15

They are comfortable. I usually wear them with skinny jeans for my daily riding. I have never been to the track or anything. They aren't too bulky. Especially compared to the Built ones I used to have. I got them on sale at Cycle Gear for like $60.00 after the sale and military discount.

Now that was a steal! I wish I could get those types of deals.
